Temple End Veterinary surgery is proud to be an approved member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standards Scheme.
We have achieved Tier 2 accreditation. This means that we undergo rigorous regular inspection and uphold high standards of hygiene, staff training, equipment and patient care. This ensures outstanding care for pets and peace of mind for pet owners. This is a voluntary scheme and not all vets choose to participate.
24 hour Emergency Cover
We are available in the event of an emergency 7 days a week throughout our regular opening times as detailed on our contacts page.
Please call 01494 522956 and we will direct you to the most suitable location for the best care for your pet. This will often be at our Stokenchurch hospital who’s opening times are:
Monday to Friday 8am till 7pm
Saturday 8am to 4pm
Sunday/Bank Holidays 9am to 10.30am.
Outside of these times your call will be redirected to our Out of Hours provider based in High Wycombe, VetsNow. Their team of dedicated emergency vets and nurses are waiting to be of assistance throughout the night or weekend. Please speak to them for free advice or to arrange an emergency appointment. Phone our regular number 01494 522956 and your call will go straight through to a Vets Now client care assistant. Out-of-hours veterinary fees are likely to be considerably higher than charges for work done inside normal hours.
If your pet’s treatment isn’t urgent, we’ll be happy to see you from the following morning at our own clinics. In the event of your pet needing to be admitted to stay overnight at VetsNow, most patients are transferred back to our care the next morning.
Our staff look after our own inpatients at our Stokenchurch hospital 24 hours a day.
