Peter Thomas graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2000. After working in Manchester and Portsmouth he joined the practice in 2004, going on to become a partner in 2012. He has a particular interest in orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery but enjoys all aspects of veterinary work. He lives in Marlow with his wife, Nicky, his sons, Owen and Ethan, daughter, Erin and his cat, Hector. Outside of work Peter enjoys running and, in the summer, plays tennis.
Tim Ferens graduated from the Royal Dick Veterinary College, Edinburgh in 1999. He has worked in the Bucks/Berks area since then with a brief stint working in Rotorua, New Zealand. He came to Temple End in 2006 and became a Partner in the practice in 2012. Tim, his wife Dee, daughter Mia and son Finlay, Labrador Bodhi and ginger cat E.J. live in High Wycombe. He enjoys mountain biking, running with the HWH3, road cycling and whenever possible, skiing.
Jacqui Chesham was pleased to accept the position of Practice Manager in January 2004 having worked there a few years earlier on reception before leaving to run a branch practice elsewhere. She has lived in Marlow for most of her life with husband Neil, they have two daughters and four grandchildren. She enjoys dog walking, growing bonsai, gardening and spending time with family.
Kezia Eves graduated from St George’s University, Grenada in 2008. From graduating she has worked in the Bucks area, joining Temple End in 2014 and then became a partner in 2020. She enjoys all aspects of medicine and surgery, with a particular interest in dentistry and exotics. Kezia lives in High Wycombe with her husband, her son, cat Charles and English Bull Terrier Gari; a household of boys! Kezia enjoys dog walking and spending time with friends and family.
Nicky Thomas graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 2003. After working in Reading and Maidenhead for many years she joined the practice in October 2017. Her main interests are in internal medicine, cardiology and diagnostic imaging, especially ultrasound, though she also enjoys soft tissue surgery. She lives in Marlow with her husband Pete, 2 sons Owen and Ethan and daughter Erin along with Hector the cat. In her spare time she enjoys baking, dancing and theatre going.
Esme Reynolds graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2014 and has been working at a small animal hospital in Lincolnshire since then. She moved to Temple End in September 2017. She enjoys all aspects of her job but particularly likes feline medicine. In her spare time she enjoys walking her dog Elwood and spending time with her family and other pets, Queenie the cat and Darnell the corn snake.
James Copland joined Temple End in 2017, after graduating from the University of Nottingham. He obtained his postgraduate certificate in small animal surgery in 2021, and has a particular interest in orthopaedics, namely fracture repair and surgical correction of cruciate disease and patella luxation. He is currently studying towards a further advanced certificate in orthopaedic surgery. James lives in Marlow with his fiancée Helen, who is also a vet, and Penny the cat. In his spare time, James regularly plays tennis and runs, and also enjoys reading, travelling, cricket and football.
Jenny Sanders graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2008. Since graduating she has worked near and far at various clinics and hospitals in Australia, Dubai, East Sussex and London. Jenny grew up in Marlow and has now made her home in Thame. Jenny is particularly interested in feline medicine, dentistry and oncology.
Emily worked for us for 6 years and then left to go to travel the world and locum at various places as a vet in the UK. You may have known her as Emily Willdig before her husband came and whisked her away to various parts of the globe. She decided that she missed us all far too much and wanted to come back to work for us. She has now acquired a Labrador called Tonka who has been busy annoying her cat, Lily. She is also studying for a certificate in ophthalmology and has a keen interest in eye surgery.
Riya Visavadia joined Temple End in January 2022 after graduating from the University of Nottingham. Riya enjoys all areas of veterinary medicine, but currently enjoys surgery and is eager to learn more. She is excited to meet the pets and owners in the community. In her spare time she loves listening to music and likes to stay active doing Pilates and going to the gym. She can’t wait to explore and hike around the country with her Weimaraner Hudson.
Thomas Donald joined the practice in August 2022 shortly after graduating from the University of Cambridge. Thomas enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and has a keen interest in surgery. He is enjoying getting to know the many pets and their owners in the community. In his spare time Thomas enjoys hiking, exploring the Chiltern Hills, playing music and travelling.
Erika graduated from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2019. After some time in small animal first opinion and emergency practices, she moved to the UK to complete a small animal rotating internship at the Animal Health Trust, in Newmarket. She then completed a specialty internship in internal medicine at The Ralph. She is currently studying towards the General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Medicine In her free time, Erika loves traveling, cooking and spending time with her family and friends in Barcelona.
Annie Beech joined our practice in July 2023 after graduating from the Royal Veterinary College. Annie enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a keen interest for soft tissue surgery and dermatology. She lives in Amersham with her partner, Sam and newly acquired kitten, Ronnie. After growing up in the Peak District, she enjoys walking and exploring the Chiltern Hills in her spare time.
Jasmine Chapman joined the Temple End team in September 2023 after graduating from the University of Bristol. Jasmine enjoys all areas of veterinary medicine, but currently enjoys surgery and neurology. She looks forward to getting to know the many pets and their owners that visit Temple End. In her spare time, she enjoys staying active by going to the gym, cold water swimming and horse riding when she gets the chance.
Geoff Nash graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London. After several years working in Gloucestershire Geoff returned to the local area where he has lived and worked for the last 33 years. Geoff joined the Practice in April 2024.He enjoys all aspects of Veterinary Medicine and is looking forward to meeting new pets and their owners.
In his spare time Geoff is a keen gardener, showing vegetables and flowers locally and nationally.
Joined Temple End in March 2024. She graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 2006. She loves all aspects of veterinary but has a keen interest in ultrasonography and internal medicine. She lives locally with her husband, 2 children and border terrier George.
Josh joined Temple End in August 2024, having attended the Royal Grammar School until 2019 and then graduating from the University of Nottingham. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary but has a keen interest in surgery, specifically orthopaedics. In his spare time he enjoys playing hockey and going to the gym.
Angela Lo joined the Temple End team in September 2024 after graduating from the Royal Veterinary College. Angela grew up in Hong Kong before she decided to further pursue her studies in the UK. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a particular interest in surgery and ophthalmology. Outside of work, she enjoys playing tennis, travelling and socialising with her friends.
Jess Hanson joined Temple End in January 2016 as a Trainee Veterinary Nurse after completing her Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management. She gained her RVN qualification in 2018, became Senior Nurse in 2020 and then Head Nurse in 2023. She has a particular love of pet nutrition and since qualifying has started weight clinics at Temple End. She is currently completing her advanced nursing diploma with the Royal Veterinary College. Jess lives with her partner and Labrador Eddie.
Shelley Kirby started work at Temple End straight after leaving school in June 1997. She quickly gained her VN qualification and is now a senior nurse. Shelley grew up and lives in Marlow with a small collection of pets and her two children Lewis and Beatrix. In her spare time she enjoys her pets, films, shopping and DIY!
Lucy Spackman joined Temple End in 1989 after qualifying as a VN in 1988. She married Philip in March 2004 and they live in Speen with a gang of lurchers, terriers sheep and chickens. Out of working hours Lucy enjoys anything to do with the outdoors especially fishing and walking.
Katie Bromley began working as a Trainee Veterinary Nurse in May 2016 and qualified in January 2019. From a young age she dreamed of being a vet but following a week’s work experience in the Practice at the age of 15, she realised that she’d much prefer to be working with animals “hands on” instead of “hands in”! Katie has adopted three stray cats and a SBT dog who likes to keep her on her toes. She enjoys working with the worried dogs (especially big breeds) and helping them to feel happier when they visit the practice.
Emily Fuller began working as a trainee veterinary nurse at Temple End in March 2018 and qualified in June 2021. Emily particularly enjoys inpatient care and nursing, as well as lots of cat cuddles! Emily lives in Burnham with her cat Charlie. Outside of work she enjoys horse riding, reading and spending time with friends.
Lois underwent her nursing qualification with us back in 2017. She worked with us for 5 years before exploring different veterinary practices, including a referral hospital. She decided that Temple End was where her heart has always been, so she returned in January 2023. Currently Lois is studying with the Royal Veterinary College for her advanced certificate in veterinary nursing, specialising in emergency and critical care. She lives in Maidenhead with her boyfriend and her cat Nola.
Catherine Outten began working as a Trainee Veterinary Nurse at Temple End in July 2019 and she qualified as an RVN in November 2022. She is one of our top cat cuddlers and loves nothing more than giving them smooches between surgeries. Catherine has a very lively cockapoo who she loves to teach new tricks and a cat who keeps her dog under control! In her spare time she loves running, playing netball and socialising with friends.
Megan Ludlow started working as a Trainee Veterinary Nurse at Temple End in September 2019 and qualified as an RVN in December 2022. Megan enjoys orthopaedic procedures and cuddling sausage dogs. Outside of work she loves going out and socialising with her friends, playing netball and travelling. Megan lives in a small town in Oxfordshire with her black lab Halle, her cat Berry, and her miniature dachshund Dotty.
Ellie Russell joined the practice as a Trainee Veterinary Nurse in August 2020 and qualified as an RVN in June 2024. Ellie particularly enjoys inpatient nursing and wishes to expand her knowledge in emergency care. At home Ellie lives with her four family dogs Tullulah, Dolly, Lola, and Prinny.
Emma Batey joined the Temple End team in November 2021 as our Saturday girl on reception. She has now transferred over to the nursing team as of August 2022 after completing her A-Levels at Great Marlow School. She lives at home with her parents, older brother, sister and her 2 pets Dexter the Labrador and Desmond the cat.
Edie Coltman joined the team in March 2023 after completing her level 3 extended diploma in Animal Management at Berkshire College of Agriculture. She lives at home with her tabby cat Nellie. She enjoys dance and has performed in places such as the Royal Albert Hall, Blackpool Tower Ballroom and Wembley Stadium. Edie looks forward to learning about all aspects of veterinary nursing but has a keen interest in exotics.
Sophia Ramirez joined Temple End in May 2023, after working in a specialist referral practice and completing her Level 3 Animal Management Qualification at Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital. Her experience in a referral practice gave her a keen interest in learning about Orthopaedic cases, and the patient care involved. At home, she has a German Shepard called Ayla and two cats. In her spare time she enjoys running and traveling.
Paige Ockenden joined the Temple End team in July 2023 as a trainee veterinary nurse after successfully completing her Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management at the Berkshire College of Agriculture. She lives at home with her cat, Milo and her two gerbils, Pingu and Sprout. Paige also enjoys caring for all the small mammals that come into the practice
Ben Smith joined the Temple End team as a trainee veterinary nurse in August 2023 after completing his Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management at the Berkshire College of Agriculture. He lives at home with his rescued cat Casper. In his spare time he enjoys playing rugby & football with his mates. Ben also enjoys caring for the large dogs that come into the practice.
Sophie joined Temple End after completing her level 3 diploma in Animal Management at Berkshire College of Agriculture. At home she lives with her 3 dogs, a Labrador called Max, an Airedale Terrier called Dennis and a Miniature Poodle hearing dog that they foster called Ray. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym and reading. She enjoys all things nursing but particularly loves cuddling with the cats and dogs that come in
Maryna joined Temple End as a veterinary care assistant in November 2022 after relocating from Ukraine due to the War. In 2009 she received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine diploma from the National University of Life and Environmental Science of Ukraine, Kyiv. She is now preparing to sit her exams with the RCVS so she can practice in the UK. She is raising 3 beautiful daughters and in her free time enjoys running, checkers and chess.
Jane Price had a career as an Art Teacher but it was her love for animals that brought her to working at TE Vets. She has a Cavapoo called Bumble and has previously owned a number of dogs, cats, chickens and a horse (for 25 years). She joined the team at Temple End during lockdown and has recently transferred to our Flackwell Heath surgery. She has three grownup children and lives part-time in south Northamptonshire.
Carol Johnson joined Temple End in April 2022 having worked in customer service roles in retail, hospitality and the care industry. She lives locally and enjoys spending time with her family, walking, travelling and reading.
Louise Pearce joined as a receptionist at the Marlow Bottom branch in September 2023. She lives with her fiance, two children, two dogs and a cat. In her spare time she enjoys long walks with her rescue dogs, dining out and reading.
Nyree Fitzgerald joined Temple End in August 2023 in Reception at our Stokenchurch branch, after working at a different veterinary practice for 26 years.Nyree is happily married with 2 teenage daughters, 2 horses, 2 dogs, 1 cat , 5 chickens and a few fish. In her spare time she enjoys Countryside Pursuits and walking her dogs.
Jen Gratze joined Temple End in August 2023. She has 2 standard poodles, Tomato and Lily. While living in Germany Jen had a small successful dog boarding and training company. She enjoys long walks, music and generally any outdoor activity.
Netty joined Temple End in April 2024 combining a childhood yearning to work with animals and a long background of customer service. She had moved to Holmer Green in 2003 with two daughters, a succession of fluffies and two Labradors, but lives a quieter life now with partner Simon. Netty enjoys music, cooking, gardening, reading, sunny days and seeing her two granddaughters and granddog Basil.
